Help with getting a six pack/visible abs?

January 27th, 2012 | by admin |

I am a 16 year old mail. Around 5’7 about 120 pounds. I have a little fat, but not too much. I am trying to get six pack abs for the summer. Any good workouts that can be done from home? Any advice? Thanks – feel free to email me.

P90X is the best option for a hardcore workout at home. It uses muscle confusion and is six days a week, for an hour ea. workout. Can you handle that kind of commitment? If so, you WILL see a change in your body, including visible abs. You’ll need a set of adjustable weights (I got my set at Walmart for $20).

I am doing the program right now and it is working. We have a free online community, where we all workout together and track our progress. It’s really fun and keeps you accountable and on track. Again, that is free. icon smile Help with getting a six pack/visible abs?

The best exercise for a 6 pack is pushing yourself away…..from the table.
Seriously though it’s all about clean eating. Your nutrition will play a huge part. You can have great abs but if you have body fat covering them, you won’t know it.

Do lots of cardio to burn fat so your abs are visible. Do super sets (one exercise immediately after another), do abs at the BEGINNING of your workout. Eat lots of protein right after you work out (1 g of protein per pound of bodyweight. Check out Scott Herman on youtube he will have lots of info for you. You can also check out Scooby on youtube he is great as well.
