How can I improve my progress of achieving six-pack abs?

January 27th, 2012 | by admin |

Hey guys. My goal by the end of this year summer break is to get amazing/killer six-pack abs. So far, i’ve been running in the morning (as soon as i get up) for about 10~15 minutes only and i’ve been consuming decent food sources such as bread, chicken, fish, vegetables, and cereals (which has no lipids/fat/saturated fat). I’m also doing a lot of ab exercises as well as other muscle groups throughout my body. I can see the first two rows of my abs, but i feel the need to burn more fat so that my abs stick out more and look more sexy icon smile How can I improve my progress of achieving six pack abs?

I’ve started this process on monday (this week) and I don’t think i will be getting my desired results by the end of the summer break cause i feel that my diet plan isn’t good enough or i’m not doing enough cardio exercises…What are some of the factors that are lacking and need improvements on?? Should I eat more vegetables? Should I do a lot more cardio exercises?

And how can I get six-pack abs faster?!?!!? I am willing to do anything. If running all day is required to get faster six-pack abs, i am willing to do so. But that would suck….lol

I’m looking forward to you guys’ answers!!

You need to up the running to at least an hour 3 times a week, no more than 6 times per week and no more than 2 hours or 15 miles per day.

You are right when you said you feel that your diet plan isn’t good enough. A male needs to be at around 10% body fat for the six pack to be visible (females 16-18%).

Okay so some tips you might like to try:

Nutrition is the starting point when you want a six pack midsection and you have to get your starting point right.

The key is to get a well balanced mix of carbohydrates, proteins and healthy fats (nuts, seeds, eggs, etc.)

Try to get your main carbohydrate intake from vegetables and fruits rather than pasta and breads

Change your cardio workouts from to more high intensity interval sessions. Examples might be:
    Skipping
    Hill sprints
    Beach sprints
    Heavy bag work
    Shadow boxing

there are heaps of engaging workouts you can do that will shed the body fat you need to expose your great six pack. If you want more examples of specific workouts and six pack advice, check out my blog in the sources section

    Hope that helps :D
